Join the Audubon Society of the Capital Region for a family-friendly introduction to the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC). In this outdoor program beginning birders will learn all about the GBBC’s history, importance, and how to conduct a bird count in their own backyard. We will meet at the Shaver Pond Center, at 10:00 AM and divide into groups from there. Afterwards, we will re-group to compare notes.
Registration is required. Please call the Park Office at 518-279-1155 by Friday, February 17 to register. In case of inclement weather, this program may be cancelled, calll the Park office to confirm or if you need further information.
