Along with 20 other Audubon NY chapters, has signed on to and sent a letter to the U.S. Department of the Interior Secretary, Sally Jewell, to respectfully withdraw the proposed rule to authorize wind turbine companies 30 year authorizations to kill Bald and Golden Eagles and ensure our important raptor species are protected. We hope our collected voices will be heard and we will share any new information regarding this rule as it becomes available.
