Last night, the Troy School 2 Bird-Friendly Gardens project was named by IHS Inc. (NYSE: IHS) for a 2013 Sustainability Award! ASCR approached the Corporate Sustainability Team of IHS GlobalSpec, based in East Greenbush, NY, to help us build the gardens as part of the Capital Region - Audubon NY ‘For The Birds!’ program in Troy, NY. ASCR board members and volunteers worked side-by-side with IHS employees to put up bird houses and construct new garden beds, among other projects, around the school grounds for the children and surrounding community to steward.
