Audubon National NY Chapters
The National Audubon Society (https://www.audubon.org)
Their mission is to protect birds and the places they need, today and tomorrow, throughout the Americas using science, advocacy, education and on-the ground conservation. They consists of twenty-three state programs, 41 centers 45-+ local chapters and countless events.

Audubon New York - https://ny.audubon.org (New York and Connecticut)
As a part of the National Audubon Society, we protect birds and the places they need, today and tomorrow, throughout the Americas using science, advocacy, education, and on-the-ground conservation. Audubon’s state programs, nature centers, chapters, and partners have an unparalleled wingspan that reaches millions of people each year to inform, inspire, and unite diverse communities in conservation action. Since 1905, Audubon’s vision has been a world in which people and wildlife thrive. Audubon is a nonprofit conservation organization.

Audubon Chapters
There are 32 separate Audubon affiliated chapters in NY and CT, most of which operate with their own 501c3s (27 in NY and 5 in CT). The majority of these chapters are all-volunteer run, though several employ staff and operate centers. Many chapters own or manage sanctuaries as well.
