ASCR has a history of providing a presence at community events. Recently, volunteers have staffed tables at local farmers’ markets, plant sales, and environmental health and safety events. Of special note is the ASCR Annual Bird Seed Sale, which is a major fundraiser for the Society. The Sale and the ASCR Annual Meeting are two of the largest recurring events, but we are always looking for more ways to spread the word about birds.  If event is cancelled or postponed, we will post it here and on our Facebook page.

 Upcoming Events: 

June 13th- "Get Outdoor and Get Together Day"- 10:00 am- 2:00 pm.  Five Rivers Environmental Education Center, 56 Game Farm Rd, Delmar, NY. Stop at our booth.  We will have information on birds and ready to answer any questions you may have.  Try to guess "What Bird Egg Is This?" and play "Bird Bingo".
